Eventing is arguably the greatest equestrian sport of all; one where horse and rider must be "jack of all trades and master of one" - the one being the cross country phase where combinations must not only clear fearsome fixed obstacles at speed but must also be able to demonstrate pinpoint accuracy at fences which are little wider than the breadth of the horse's shoulders or are set at extreme angles to other jumps.   It is not surprising then that the adrenalin rush it creates makes eventing one of the most popular and fastest growing sports in the horse world.
